Default captive fox

There was nothing I could do about the fence, as the fox was completely enclosed (and I couldn't get closer to minimise the size.)

But I got exactly the shot I wanted. It could tell that feeding time was coming, so it was up and about. I just like the look and the sleakness of its body. You can't see the tail, but it was nice and bushy. Very cute animal with lovely color.

I agree, the fox is a lovely creature.

Rather than trying to get the fence to blur out, maybe you could have allowed it to be in focus, emphasizing the fact that the fox is a captive. That old idea of, "if you can't fight 'em, join 'em."

Interesting idea. I would have neede more DOF, but it was a sunny day. Might have worked. I'll try that next time.

I went back the next day and got a nice shot of it sleeping in the sun. I'll have to edit that one up too.
