Default A Few Critters From Our Mexico Trip

Just got back from Zihuatanejo, Mexico. Was able to capture some birds and crocs on a couple of outings.

Here's a small group of Snowy Egrets along with a Great Egret.

A Snowy Egret in a Mangrove Swamp.

Wood Storks. There must have been over 100 in two trees.

One of my favorites down there, a Roseate Spoonbill.

Then there was this guy. He kept his eye on me for a while.

Looks like a good trip Bob. Must have been a great break from the cold and snow.

Thanks for sharing.

Jim

Thanks for the comments, Jim. Yes, we got thawed out, saw old friends and lots of critters. Fun trip always.

Looks like you were near a dam. Nice captures.

Thanks all for the comments. Been going to same area for over 20 years. Some of the best birding is in the water drainage canal that runs through town. Dry in the winter and the birds flock to it.
