Default a colorful shoveler

got this shot of a very colorful northern shoveler at a small local pond yesterday. it's a bit unusual to see this much blue on the wings, at least when they're folded. 7D, 550mm, 1/1000 @ f/7.1

Hey Rocky,
I have been following your other posts with the new Tamron lens and it seems to be really doing a nice job for you. Those are some great photos.

Cheers,
Steve

thanks Steve! yeah, i have to say, this new lens is doing really well... a definite step up from my 100-400L! next on my list is a 7D Mk II - those two should make a pretty darned good combination!
