Default Green-winged teal

The winter birds are streaming in. It's my favorite time of the year for photographs.

Cheers, Steve

Nice image, Steve! I am waiting for El Nino to drop a lot of rain to fill up a dries out pond at Garreston Point. The pond was a favorite hangout for the ducks last year. So far no luck with the Green-winged Teals yet although I had taken a picture of a Blue-winged Teal from far away.

Thanks, come on up to the N. valley. There are lots of birds and more showing up every day now that the Klamath Basin has frozen. The Colusa refuge and Llano Seco WMA have great photo opps. right now. There should be lots of water after this next series of storms. Good snapping.
