Default an unusually cooperative wood duck

got this little fellow on the pond at a nearby park this afternoon (4/14)... he swam off when i first appeared, as wood ducks do, but once i got set up and he saw i wasn't a threat, he came back in close... REAL close! like, less than 20 feet, which is very rare for a woodie! combine that with some nice, soft light and some beautiful reflected colors on the water, and it was just too good an opportunity to pass up! these images are straight from the camera, no cropping, just resized and sharpened a bit for the web...

Gorgeous shots Rocky. Very nice.

OOC:
Why's the water so green? Trees reflecting in the background?
