Default The Breach

Went out on a whale-watching tour this afternoon... my first such trip ever. Great day on the water... clear skies, calm seas, lots of whales! Got shots of orcas and humpbacks, and a brief glimpse of a minke. This is probably my favorite shot of the day - an orca breaching! I have more shots to process, of course, and will probably post more later...

Rocky that's better then I could ever have hoped for on your first whale watching trip.
I would enjoy seeing some more of what you got after seeing this one.

G'day mate

Agreed with Mike ... others in the series are making my mouth water - so to speak

In the processing - any chance of lowering the blue atmospheric cast?

Thanks, Mike! Most of the rest are just the "usual" shots of fins and "porpoising" behavior. I did get a couple more of the b reach, but this was the best of the lot..

Thanks, Phil! Yeah, it'd be pretty easy to tone down the blue and lighten it up a bit... I'll have a go at it and see how it looks!
