This little fella had been flitting about for a few days, my wife and I had been watching it taking it's first few sips at nectar, then it flew into our window, temporarily stunning itself.I held it until it was strong enough to fly off while my son took a few shots.

Yup Jack, one of the reasons I wanted a digicam was/is for these type of moments

What a beak on that one! I've released birds at a banding station. Its fun to feel them on your hand. Nice shot.
