well, i was playing around in "TV" mode....because you can change how bright the flash is (you can't in M for some reason) and i got these...

Nice job, macro work is not easy. You lined up that DOF really well.

Something seems a bit odd with the colors in the first one... but I don't know what the green should look like, really. It just seems a bit saturated.

about the colors, i changed the levels around a bit, cuz it was a bit bright, so that might not be true to the real creature, but how would you know? lol, i can't see that close, at least to see the "real" details...

What a neat pose on that hopper, it almost looks like it's praying. Great shot Vito, and I'm real happy that you cropped it like you did. It's amazing how insects can have personalities.

believe it or not norm...i didn't crop that shot...

well...technically i did, from digital zoom...but no cropping in PS

I was worried about you for awhile, Vito, I hadn't heard from you as much. Just so you know that if you are not responding as much you are missed. I'm glad and relieved that you keep giving the critiques that you are so good at, thanks, as always.

yeah, there are a couple other forums i've seen (byte photo and "photos of the year") and the forums aren't very active...

sometimes steves is a little TOO active....and i have a hard time keeping up (haha...i sometimes can't post to EVERY thread )
