J_Larson, I think you spent some time waiting for some great expressions to arrive and I personally think you were successful. Great captures.

Whadda ya mean? Those penguins aren't cute? They're as darling as can be!!! I really like that shot of those penguins. I think if they were cropped a bit, the impact of their expressions would be even greater, something like below (I hope you don't mind my editing your photo).

I also like the chimp picture - reminds me of my maternal grandfather... wait! I was just joking! :-)

The polar bear is endearing (as long as I'm not in the enclosure with him/her) but the picture seems to have an overall yellowish cast to it. Seems like that could be fixed up easily in PS.

lol... well i still think those penguins look like something from a batman movie! I think you did a good job with that crop.
The reason why the polarbear pic looks yellow, is maybe because i shot it through a very thick bulletproof glass. And the glass was very greasy and dirty... actually im surprised it wasnt showing more on the final picture than it does.
But thanks for your comment.

great shots, those penquins remind me of a friends twin sons when they were small and were waiting in their high chairs to be fed, they too made those faces:-)
