Managed to find this little guy taking his time, walking down the road in the daylight! He was not moving very fast - obviously tired. As I followed him, he climbed up a tree and I managed to get this (and many other) shots of him.

Sorry about the ugly watermark. I did a web search for "raccoon pictures" and really did not find anything impressive. I think I might have something special here - although I wish the sun was on his face.

Really neat shot. Yes the watermark is very distracting and bummer that small branch is in there.

Still a very cool shot. I know how tough it can be to get everything right when you are dealing with nature. I have been trying to get shots of these two barn owls for weeks. They are always way back in the tree. Last weekend I caught one in the open except for one small leaf that no matter where I moved to it covered one of its eyes. Frustrating!!

Thanks for sharing this neat looking shot.

My 12 year old son shot this one. He shot it with a Sony 717. The above pix was with shot with a Nikon D70. I did not even look at his shots until today and I really like this one...

Darrell, tell your son that he's tremendous and he'd better keep the camera in hand. Darrell, don't tell him that I like his photo more than yours, though. It might give him a swelled head. You have taught your son well, great job!
