Ahh, yes, a common garden spider. Very nicely photographed, Amy! You were able to get almost perfect DOF and great exposure.

Closeup, spiders seem kind of creepy, don't they? What ISO did you shoot this at?

Today, boy I wish I had my camera when this bigger bug came up and tried to attack it but it somehow fended it off. Boy was I freaked out. And this moring at about 7AM when the sun was still rising I saw it silhouetted on my window but was pretty sure (hoping at least) that it was just made up in my mind from my delerium. sure enough, it wasn't.

Well see, it was on the outside of my window. Had been drizzling all day so they're out-of-focus raindrops.

nice pic dudette,

Yes that is a little closer that I ever want to be to those things.

Did you feel brave and take it on macro or did you "bug" and have to use the zoom?

Ack!

*pokes head up from behind chair*

Has it gone yet?

It's weird. I don't like spiders and bugs. But if I have a camera to hand I try and get a picture and don't even think about it.

Good picture Amy. Long time no see.

Thanks everyone. I was really brave! haha and used macro. but not brave since it was on the other side of my window, and couldn't hurt me. But it didn't move so I tapped my window and is spazzed out! moving waaaay to fast for me to ever be able to capture!
