Hi Bahamut, great pic of the bataleur [my ALL TIME favourite bird]It is great to see some pics of the Kruger, we [my wife and I] have just come back from there, spent 3 glorious weeks in the park] We also spent a fair bit of time at sunset dam, an amazing place of activity. There is a hippo/sunset pic I have posteda few weeks ago in the landscape forum

The detail in the bateleur picfrom the Canon 10d IS amazing, definitely a machine I'm interested in. My FZ10 did a fair job, but ....

I met a guy there []http://www.upthepole.co.za] doing a project for under privileged children who also had a Canon 10d, really got my interests up

Great stuff !!! Post more of the KP, it would be nice to see some of your work

Thanx for the compliment Jake

Had a look at Bob's site, Wow! I would pay for the opportunity to sit on a pole at sunset damfor three weeks. So far I've spent 27 days in the Kruger and fortunately I'm booked into Skukuza for the upcoming long weekend, withdrawal symptoms are really getting bad.

Btw with the release of the Canon 20D the prices of the 10D are sure to drop a bit over the next few months. I am thinking of upgrading mainly for the 5fps but will wait for reviews to come in. Just think 5 shots per second of a cheetah taking down an impala or that swooping fish eagle.....ugh, still have to wait for a whole week. :-)
