these guys I suprised within metres of houses even though it looks in the midddle of the bush.

I'll bet that it's hard to get close to these kangaroos which makes these pictures more exciting. I kind of like the fourth picture the best - you might try sharpening it up a bit.

I think you need a longer lens (like me - hey, it's only money, right Julie? )...

I wish these were a little closer. A longer lens would definitely help.

yes a longer lens would have helped as these guys were at least 300metres from me which makes them not bad for just a 300mm lens.

I agree, Julie! Not bad at all for a 300mm lens at 1000 feet!

Just a thought... since you don't have the money for a long lens, how about a kangaroo costume? :blah:

:lol:yeah right, these guys can pick your there well before the 1000feet, they just watched me for a while and i thought, well maybe Id get closer but as soon as I was noticed to be making ground they took off. I can get plenty of shots of some tame ones at the caravan park I stay at on work days for a couple of hours rest but thats just not the same.
