Hey, Norm, good to see the posts from you!

I really like #1 but I can't help but feel like I'm sliding down an incline because of the slant. :-)Same with #2.

Now, #4 is great, especially with those drops of water dripping down off the mallard's bill.

Did you have to sharpen these in post-processing or did they come out of the camera looking that sharp? (Because they are sharp!)

Greetings geoff, thanks for the commentary. I sharpened ever so slightly with these photos (more out of habit than for any reasons of necessity). The Mark II responds extremely well to post-process USM but I didn't use it much at all on these ones because I didn't have an extender on the end...no need to sharpen really.

nice shots norm!

i especially like the last too!

the drop makes it!...you got a bit of purple fringing on the drop in the last one..but easy PS fix...

Vito, nice investigative work!

PS -actually, that's not purple fringing, the mallard was sucking on a grape lollipop just before I took the picture. :-)
