Dang, Joel. That's really nice. Sharp, bright, and glorious

...and the focal depth is perfect (sometimes tricky with flowers) -

the subjectis entirely uncompromised, yet very effectively

drawn out from the background.

Of course findingasubject so spendid is half the magic.

It's a bit like getting a twenty-year-old blonde to pose for you,

you're certain to be complimented on yourgreat photographic talent.

But no, that is a really nice shot.

Thanks, but a lot has to do with the fact that Longwood gardens has some great shooting material year round. I am very impressed with the S5100, and its few shortcomings, don't bother me that much. As far as a 20 year old model, I would have to call 911 as soon as she started to pose.
