It was a beautiful clear day in Northern California today. In the background is one of only two active volcanoes in the continental U.S., Mt Lassen.
Mt Lassen's last major eruption period was from May 1914 thru 1917. The largest eruption occured on May 21,1915.

Great expansive landscape and the wildlife just makes it more refreshing, then the volcanic mount, snow and all, puts the icing on...then the man-made architecture bursts the rising bubble. Super landscape, I only wish those sheds weren't there.

Normcar.

I agree. Stupid man-made things.

Next time I will try to avoid them.

Although, now that I think about it. I think my wife took that shot because she was on that side of the car so I handed her the camera. Well, in order to preserve domestic harmony I shouldn't have stopped in that particular place. :G

It was a gorgeous day anyway.
