I helped my Mother (who is in her seventies) go digital recently. We chose a canon A80 as it seemed to be the best camera for her needs. She just got back from visiting my sister who lives on the other side of Australia in North Queensland. These are some of the wildlife she photographed there, the birds are very different to those in the west of OZ. No editing and straight from the camera except for resizing.
