Every time I go to the refuge this guy is in the same spot. He likes to stand on a culvert pipe over looking the irrigation ditch.

Thanks,
This guy is usually about 6ft off the road standing on the concrete foundation of the drainage culvert. The last time I was there he was gone and in his place was the Lesser Snowy Egret. So I snapped about a dozen closeups of him. Also, in the same place I found 4 River Otters playing one day. It's a very productive drainage ditch. :-)

I can't wait to go back and see what's waiting for me next time.

Regards, Steve
