So, I was working on the computer when I hear this clunking noise on the porch which is right outside my window. I turned on the porch light and there was this crazy Mocking Bird fluttering up and down the length of the porch bumping into the ceiling about every 5 feet. My porch runs the length of the front of our house. It's a ranch style (Iike practically every other house in Calif.) Anyway he finally landed on my wifes birdhouses (how appropriate) and I got my camera and ran off about 20 shots. Notice that he did give me a really nasty look.
I think a cat chased him out of a tree and he was disoriented. As I was shooting the pics another Mocking bird came swooping in to check things out and fly back out into the darkness.
It was an interesting opportunity.

Another shot of him jumping down on to the railing.

smac, do you see what I see? Look closely at that bird and then at your avitar. Now do you see it? I got quite a chuckle out of this one. That bird has the same eyes that your puppy dog has. Hilarious.

Nice photo by the way.

PS - I like the bug-eyed dog better. The guy was beginning to get to me.

Yeah me too. And the guy was me. Too intense.

Nice call on the eye comparison. Maybe the eye thing is a California trait. You know me, the dog, the bird. Who knows what else has bugged out eyes? Only time will tell.:?
