I posted this message on Dpreview.com in the Panasonic forum and I don't think people "got it". The "Better Beamer" is a pretty cheap accessory that will fit most flash heads and can make a huge difference in wild life telephoto shots because you have more light to work with. I've been reading a lot about the value of fill flash for sports and wild life. I bought a "Better Beamer" from Birds as Art, you can see the device here, http://www.birdsasart.com/accs.html#BEAMER. I took my FZ10 out for a spin on a cloudy, cold, windy day and found what wild life I could. All I can say is ¬°WOW! , and anybody with a telephoto and a flash could use one. This first picture was taken with the sun behind the birds,

Yup, all the birders that I see in the field use it. I also need to buy one along with an external flash unit.
