That a great one - simple and lovely colors. How close did you dare comming ? Is it a crop or a full size - resized ? Just curious !

Thank you Klaus! I was probly fifty yards away, using the TCON-14
teleconverter I think it's called? I did crop, and resize. I resize all of
these because at 1600X1200 they'd be a big download. Does the
crop look okay? There was nothing but more grass in front and
sky above. As far as color goes, I live in the desert and you are
looking at our "fall colors" lol. I appreciate your input, positive or
negative, Klaus (and everyone else on here) and I hope you continue to take the time to give it to me and others on here. You have a wonderful gallery and I admire your work. Thanks again!!

Thanks for the nice words upon my gallery.

I love looking at photos. I learn so much doing it. That's why I can't help comment on a photo, when I see one that's great, but needs a little adjustment.

I think your crop is right. First you split the vertical line into to identical sizes, then you split the lower half into two identical halfs, just there at the deers "standingline". That's a composition that meets the eye - and to me, that one of the most important issues in photographing. The problem is to see the lines in the motive and their not always there.

I know I'm often give negative inputs, but that makes us think about doing better. Ofcourse it's fine to get a "Fine pic" comment, everybody loves that, but it's difficult to use in a constructive way to make the pic better.
