Nice shot, slightly soft but maybe that's how you wanted it. Does the perch have a little white roll inside? Perhaps this is why it's nose is bent (oh yes, a wren looks like that doesn't it).

Oh please, Houston, do tell us what that little wren is perched on top of? :roll:

To my eye this looks to be a Carolina Wren and a very pretty little bird. I always did like wrens, especially their songs.

Like Norm said, this is a bit soft but perhaps you wanted it that way. If not, I'm wondering if you used noise reduction on this image? It almost has the appearance of having had some of the plumage details wiped away by a noise reduction pass.

Cute birds. I have a couple of these guys coming to my suet block on
a daily basis. I always wonder how something so small can be so loud?
