It was even colder today and for a brief moment some of these appeared that I took some quick shots of. Not great photos but I'd like an identification from anyone, thanks. My guess is a type of finch.

And the magpie and bluejay fluffing for warmth (some branches cloned out on magpie)

You have dedication, Norm, going out on a cold, wintry day. However, it's easier to get out and shoot pictures in cold and/or snowy weather than it is when it's raining like it is where I am!

The finches look to be House Finches, both male (with the red) and females.

I like the Blue Jay - looks kinda cute peeking through the branches...

Yeah, I agree, House Finch. I had to think for second though, don't usually
see them puffed up so much. Those magpies are really cool birds. The
weather here has been like a yo-yo. It got to 50F today (10F on Monday), but was cloudy and
drizzly. It did clear up for a couple hours and then socked in again. I'm ready
for snow!!!
