Got a break in the crappy weather today for a couple hours and got these photos:

White-breasted Nuthatch, not bad
ISO 400, 1/200sec, f/11, 400 mm, 60% crop

Of course, the one that had the best detail was this one:
ISO 400, 1/200sec, f/13, 400 mm, 60% crop

And then there was this junco, not technically all that good, but just so darned cute
ISO 400, 1/200sec, f/10, 400 mm, 40% crop

I like #1 the best. A little bit more to the right hand side would have helped with no tree trunk behind the bird's head.

I tried to get the guy to move out further, bobbyz, but he wouldn't do
anything without a release form. Maybe that's why he turned his back to me. :-):-):-)

I love the detal in #2, we don't have these beautiful birds in our area, so I appreciate you sharing these great photos.

Thanks wendy. I really like these guys. They are so fun to watch and they
just seem like a happy bird all the time.

Good and sharp. Photo #1 is neat as this is the classic nuthatch pose. As for the crappy weather, guess I'm not the only one!
