Seems sparrows are the topic of the week, so I will post one of my own. Took it through an open passenger side window.

Could this be immature golden-crowned sparrow? I am not sure as there supposed to be black area around the yellow part.

Really nice pics of these guys. Good catch eye of the first one. It seems like
I can never get the right light angles to get the detail in the eyes of these
little guys. Your probably right about the ID on the first one. I'm not
sure about the second guy though. These little brown jobs make my head
spin sometimes trying to ID them.
