Iwent out today to try and get some photos. It was a miserable cloudy, foggy, rainy day.
Didn't have much luck getting anything to come out. This one was the only one that came out half decent.
Took some shots with flash of some close little birds, but even though my eye couldn't pick it up,
the flash did expose the mist in the air, muxing up the images.

ISO 400, 1/200sec, f/6.3, 105mm

Some really effective photos get lost in posting land from time to time. I think this is one of them. The mist and triple balance of subjects with the central one spreading wings is superb to me, very moody. I think the contrast might go up a touch, though, from my monitor's perspective, that is.

Thanks for the comments Norm. Your right about the contrast. It could be
boosted a little more. I was thinking about doing it, but I wasn't sure if
I wanted to make a more pleasing image technically or try to keep the
mood/condtions of the day. I'm still undecided.
