Taken couple of weeks ago when we had some sun. I don't like the perch.

One advantage of bad weather, bobby, is that it forces us to go back and review previous photographs. I'm certainly glad that you found and posted this one as the light in this photo is suberb. The shadow of the tiny seed, eye definition, tinge of sheen coming from the light source, spot on exposure, all comes together really nice in my view. And I personally like the perch as it is a perfectly straight line that forces my eye across the entire horizontal space. It also enhances the seed and shadow by it's barrenness.

I agree with Norm, glad you posted this one. Everything in this photo seems
to work to me, lighting, background, etc.

Thanks everyone for their kind words. We got sun today but I have to work. Wish I could call in sick.

Looks good to me also Bobbyz. I just wish I could get home before dark to try to get some more shots of something to post. Its dark when I go to work and dark when I get home from work. Working lots of overtime these days. Maybe that will help me get a new lens!!!

Now that could be the wildlife photographer's creed.
