#3, Julie - that's the one I really like. You caught the bird in a good pose, in what looks to be a natural setting, and the detail is pretty well defined. Way to go.

Thanks, I like that shot too but I felt that the white on his front seemed a little blown out exposure wise.

you could probably cool down the bright front in thebird...it doesn't look blown...

you take these with your 100-300?
looks like you're doing well with it
i like 3 the best, because of the 'natural' surroundings..

nice work!

Yes this is the 100-300 usm, a big improvement over the 90-300mm. Are you going to save for a zoom lens suitable for wildlife Vito?

Nice photos, new to this forum it good to see people have constructive feedback, i have one small IS lens well worth it! was -42C here last week so it will be a bit until any major birds will be around.
