Absolute hilarity. Those birds are the coolest, funniest, and their character couldn't be shared without you catching their little moments at the bath. I liked these birds before but even moreso now that they are sharper and more defined.

Thanks, yes they have a big personality like the silver eyes but perhaps these are a little more likely to yell and scream at each other:-)

By the way they are also useful. My sister in laws place is surrounded by scrub, one day she heard a bunch of these little guys really chattering and screaming in a different tone to what she has heard before. She stepped outside and there was a snake at her door step. Since then if she has heard that type of chatter from them she has checked and numerous times it's been a cat or a lizard or snake. They get VERY loud and warn each other of danger, but if humans cotton on they can warn them as well.

Very amusing series of shots, Julie. The third picture hits the spot for me too. It sort of gives them some human personality to see them yelling at each other like that.

And you envy us up here in North America for our birds? Sheesh...

I'm for number 3 also. But I don't see but one of them yelling and the others are too stunned to open their beeks. I think he's telling them that their time is up and get out.

These are great Alady

Great shots, Julie. Yeah, the third is probably the best overall, but there's something about the second last shot... They look... um... like some crazy charicature.

I love the whole series.
