It was a beautiful day at the refuge were I shoot wildlife. Most of the geese have headed north but there was still plenty to try my new Panasonic 1.5x teleconverter out on. I hope you agree that for a non-SLR it does a pretty good job.

All pictures were hand held. I leaned against the car door jam for the Eagle photo.

Wow and wow again Smac. These are just great. I didn't know that you didn't use an SLR. What do you use that you were able to put a 1.5 TC on. I might look into putting one of them on my C2100UZ Olympus. Again great pictures of some beautiful birds.

Cheers

Thanks, I have been using a Panasonic FZ20 and just got the Panasonic 1.5 teleconverter lens for it. It is fantastic.
Thanks for the compliments.

Thank you, we are swimming in Pheasants here. They are a spectacularly beautiful bird in the sunlight. However they are very good at staying hidden in the underbrush.
All the best,

It's a great converter indeed. I should have kept mine and used it on my DSLR lenses for the amount of money I got in trade. That last eagle is a beaut! Looks like you were close enough to climb up on it and go for a little buzz around the preserve.

Have fun!
