Ooh, I really like this one. That's a very interesting background blur and the bountiful negative space is penetrating. The positioning of the bird is perfect in my eyes, gazing outward into the space. My only suggestion would be a touch more contrast.

I generally like it. Something really bothers me about the pattern on that tree in the left-center. Particularly the patter on the top 1/2 of it. I have no clue what would have caused it it looks either like you were shooting through glass or... I don't know. Either way, I think I'd blur it a bit in post-processing it to smoth it out a bit.

I also agree with norm, a bit more contrast would give it a bit more punch.

yes: i take this photo trough a window.

yes: maybe the bird needs a bit more contrast.
