The kids didn't have school, so we spent the day photographing eagles along the river...camera shake is a very big issue, but I did my best...

He missed about five times, but stirred up the attention of others in the area as soon as he banked and came around. Here is a juvenile that wanted a piece of the action...

and I zoomed in as he flew right past us...a great day with the kids. They are still chattering about it!!

I like those first 2 especially where the bird is shooting down and skimming the water surface. Looks like great fun. Nice wing definition in that one long distance shot too.

Very nice W.G. That's some tough shooting with handheld. I only dream of getting that kind of action photo'd with my digicam. Cheers......thekman.

Some pretty good in flight shots here! I'd love to be able to see one of these
guys when I've got my camera with me.
