Here are a few blurred shots and a rear end viewthat I thought had some emotive promise, even though the day was overcast and one of those drab light days that drives one to depression.

Interesting series Norm. Even though #2 and #4 are blurry, they do show some interesting
aspects of a bird taking to flight. #3 I think is the winner here. That look
on that little guy's face is just so damned cute. I think that the DOF actually
aids in focusing your attention to it. If it were my photo, I would
probably try some selective sharpenning in the head area to enhance the effect,
and probably some dodge and burn as well. Damned, that is just so cute.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions woodmeister. Those chickadees can get real cute and they don't even need to try hard. :-) I agree with you on the DOF and that's one of the real plus points with the 200/1.8 where one can create a real whammy blur.
