You have some very nice shots of the RedWing here Zoomn. I believe I like the second one the best. Facing you with the tail feathers spread and the background nice and blurred is a winner for me.

Cheers

Nice shots. First one does, however, look like the poor fella hung himself!

Lovely shots zoomn, and the color saturation, especially in number 1, is spectacular. That lens can really draw out the colors.

Nice shots. Lovely exposure. We have this type of bird at the golf course I play at. Now that I have a somewhat better camera than my old coolpix, I hope to get a few shots of them this spring. They nest by one of the ponds, and if you get too close, they swoop right at you. Brave little fellas. They even take on the crows. Cheers..........thekman.

Thanks for taking a look.

I was surprised to find one of these that let me get pretty close.

Great shots. Great color and sharpness. This is a bird that has eluded me so far. Thanks for posting.

Zoom, I especially like shots well done on black colored birds. These came out really well. Did you use flash or flash fill with these? CAn you share your settings? It is really hard to get that good a definition on black subjects. Well done.
