It's difficult getting a head-on perspective of a bird in focus but you appear to have done well on the top photo. I enjoy the middle one very much but would have cloned out the long thin metal thread. The action shot neutralizes the blur by it's interesting expose' in movement. Nice post.

The second shot is the winner here. Good detail and the angle of the bird
and the crop give a really nice symmetry to it.
