is this common bird or what ???that was the first time i saw those bird and it was in my garden.

Hi Pierre

Yes, it is a common bird, at least in New York. It was brought to North America and then multiplied like crazy....

However, it changes with the season and the breeding plumage make a new bird out of it. The irridescent colors are quite striking. Even the beak changes color.

That's a fine shot BTW...
