I never know what I'll see when I go to your posts as they are always full of supprizes. You have so many nice and interesting things to photograph and these today are very good. Nice and sharp. Tomorrow I am driving about 1.5 hrs back to Birdsong Plantation. This time I'm taking my ETX-90 Spotting scope along.Last week I saw Herons in their nests but too far out in the swampy area to get any post worthy shots. 50% chance of rain again tomorrow so I might not get anything after all. Wish me luck........

Hey, great circus performer there, Jake, and you caught it in all of it's fun glory. This bird reminds me of the little yellow warblers that will soon be chirping away over here in this part of the world. Come little ones, come.

And, Houston, good luck at the plantation

Thanks for comments all. These raelly are cute little birds, probably 1/2 the size of a house sparrow, and they make a squeaking sound much like a wheelbarrow needing oil, and the thing about the berry is that they are not soft, so it is quite a squeeze to get the thing down!!

Looking forward to those heron shots, orWHATEVERother interesting things you can find on the way, Houston

Regards
