Here are a few flyers and one landing from today. The ice and snow are melting and things are beginning to look up for photography these days, thankfully.

Geese taking off from the river

Goose landing on the frozen lake (soon to be melted)

Chickadee taking flight

These are great shots! Very gorgeous

Please tell me which camera and the settings you used to catch these photos I'd much appreciate it.

Nice flight shots Norm. The catch on the chickadee is great, getting it with
full wing spread, and making off with some tasty morsel is an added plus!

Norm, great shots. I love the Chickadee in flight. You've manged to capture more detail in this in flight shot than I do when they are sitting still. AMAZING!

All great as usual Norm. The Chickadee is my favorite. I love that shot and I feel like bmullen does as your in-flight shot is sharper than my best one of them sitting on a limb.

That brings up something I wanted youto help me with if you have time. Please read my remarks to you on your Rough Leged Hawk.

Love the geese, and the second one makes me laugh for sure (I can imagine the skid sounds they use in cartoons when a character is attempting to stop!) :blah:. The chickadee is absolutelyfabulous!

Thanks mullen, but those last shots of yours are tough to compete with. :-) I got lucky on this one and it takes a whole pile of tries to get something like this, plus a vat full of luck.
