I can see why you like these shots Alady and reasonable is not the correct word to describe them. The color, clarity, detail and framing or composing and everything else is outstanding. Anyone would be very happy to have taken these shots.

No trick just luck, the background was overgrown grass in a property backing on to mine and the lens was zoomed out to almost 300mm at F5.6

Thanks, they are probably my favorites of all the bird shots Ive taken so far:-)
