The Common Grackle usually looks black, but in the right light, the poetry comes out.

Wow....I just got back from the Wildlife Refuge and shot the same birds ... I had no idea what they were - was just searching the Internet trying to find out! Nice shots!

No, getting up at dawn and being in the right place at the right time...

While this was shot along the Brooklyn Shore, I've never been to this particular spot before. I have high hopes for the future...
