These two shots above were taken in a tidal pond at low tide. In the first picture you can also see a Greater Yellowlegs. Later they moved to the beach and I followed....

These are among my favorite birds. While I hate to anthropomorphise, they mate for life, keep the kids around for a long time, and for a $20 bill will pose forever...

Great shots! I like the vivid color and the fact I can see the bird's eye in the closeups. Great job.
