Shot at the waterfront, Toronto. July 2004. (I can't remember how I got below eye-level on this one>)

Lovely clean shot of the Gull Tom. He (she) looks disappointed, as if the people behind haven't got any food to scavenge.

Hi Tom, very nice shot and I love the blurred scene in the background. My only wish would be that the people were not directly behind the gull's head but it's not too distracting. Otherwise, I love it.

I agree, though the background is sufficiently out of the focal range, so I guess the overall effect is not too bad. It would be bad if there were a perfectly focused person growing out of the gull's head. :-)
