Very nice shots mullen. We have Gold Finches here, but I find it hard to capture a good photo because they are constantly on the move. They are beautiful this time of year. Woody

Yeah, they're around. Didn't get a chance to get a shot of both male and female together.

nice shots mullen. I kinda like #4 the best. Even though there are the two
branches in the foreground, the seem to nicely frame the bird. I haven't
spotted any up here yet, but I think I've heard them "laughing" at me in the distance.

Thanks Woodmeister. I like that one, too. Full size it shows a lot of detail in the feathers.
