I can't quite pick out this face yet...possibly from a Ren and Stimpy cartoon...but not Ren and not Stimpy.

hahahahaha!! Don't be scared of dragonflies hehehe. They're completely harmless. Luckily I didn't post up my lizard and big locust/grasshopper pics from yesterday hehehe....now that would probably REALLY freak you out hehehe. Thanks for the nice comments!!

Nice shots!

And they are not completely harmless. They eat their own weight in mosquitoes, deer flys, or any other flying insect that can get those chompers on....

So "harmless" is a matter of prospective:-)

And more power to them!

Thanks! Oh yeah...that's definitely true. Not completely harmless. Completely harmless to people, but really not harmless to their prey hehehe. They're carnivorous!

Did you know you can actually buy them?

Seriously, you can buy the larvae, and release them in any nearby pond. I'm talking hundreds of thousands for a few bucks. When they turn into Dragon flies, so much for the local mosquitoes....
