This is a red dragonfly photographed from below it, taken in quite bright sunlight. I used a Canon G6 in super macro mode, and it wasn't easy to compose the shots because the bright sunlight in front of the camera made the LCD appear blacked/whited out. I didn't want to use the viewfinder to compose the shot in the super macro mode, so I had to do my best to find the outline of the dragonfly and try fit the full wing span into the photo as well. One of the shots has a tiny part of the wings outside of the frame, which was disappointing. I guess this highlights (or re-highlights) a disadvantage of LCD viewfinding on flip out displays.
