Hi everyone,

Around 5 this evening I spotted a Mourning Doveona railing. I was able to get closer than expectedat 195 mm. Am I correct about this birds type? I didn't realize they hadthis kind of coloration up close.

Thanks bmullen!

The color from your photo looks more how the Dove appeared to my eye when I took the picture. Nice shot. Maybe mine had a color cast from reflected light hitting the scene. I did up the saturation slightly. I think my wb was set for daylight or Auto.
