These three shots were taken in a marine meadow, meaning that it's flooded at high tide, but never completely drains. Something hatched, who knows? There were about ten of them VERY happily engaged in eatiing away, looking much like a flock of Turkeys.

These two images were taken on the same day about two miles away at the abandoned Navy Air Station Floyd Bennet Field. You are looking what what happens to a road after it's been abandoned for 40 years. This is actually a rain puddle, so deep thatb ducks, Ibis's and others were taking advantage of vegetation and toads...

These birds, always interesting to see, change color as they turn, and reflect the light in so many different ways.
