You seem to be making good use of the blind. I also got one after knowing that normcar and woodmeister (I think) use one. Now only if I could put it back togerther, I will start using it.

Bobby, the bird blind I go to is a fixed wooden structure, fairly large. The frame of it gives me a good place to steady the camera.

really nice pics mullen!!!! The Grosbeak is awesome. Good job getting the
exposure on a high contrast bird like that.

Just to let you know Bobbyz, I don't use a blind, though depending on my mood
and activity a particular spot, I'll tuck myself back up against bushes. But
most of the time I'm pretty much "on the hunt".
