Nice! I like the fans and the Oriole ain't bad...

Might try desaturating it a hair and see if more of the details emerge...!

Don't sell yourself short dennis. That last shot of the turkey is pretty darned good. Though, it didn't look like the female was all that interested in this guy.
The oriole is good as well. Good color and sharpness on the bird and the
blue sky as a background sets it off really well. As far as the blackbird, if
his head would have been turned the opposite direction, you would have nailed it!

Great shots, dennis, that Oriole is excellent from both perspective and color. Keep em all and go get more just like em.

thanx, Norm!!!! i have to say, i was never really into taking bird shots until seeing some of the posts here and on other forums. never reallized how tricky it can be and how patient one needs to be. unfortunately for me, i don't have a lot of time and i can't always sit and wait for long periods of time. but, the more i do it the more i like it and the challenge it brings. and, what i really love about this forum is that no matter how good or how bad a picture is, there's always inspiring comments from some really wonderfl people!!!!
