I think these things are easier to view, if you post the images one on top of the other, instead of side by side...

However, getting that out of my system:lol:

They are great shots! The first one looks like the two of them are asking "we're getting paid for this, right?"

What kind of snakes are they? They look like Black Racers, but the color is wrong...

Well I certainly didn't mean to post these images this way, it just happened. As a matter of fact since my last "B"day alot of stuff has been happening like that. I believe it's refered to as a senior moment. I am rather enjoying it as people quit calling me stupid once they started calling me OLD.

I think the snakes are just common water snakes, at least I hope so. They have taken to sunning themselves in the spot I used to lay to get my frog shots! We need to make new arrangments.

I like that line about being old, I'm working on it myself....

Where are you located? I'll try to figure out the breeed of snake....

Certainly these quality images should make this easy.

North Eastern Ohio, 20 miles south of interstate 80, just five miles from the Pennsylvania line. I don't like or know much about snakes, for the most part I just avoid them. If the topic of venom comes up I'm going to get a longer lens.
